TOWERS DRAMATIC ARTS SOCIETY (TDAS)

The Towers Dramatic Arts Society (TDAS), is the hub of creative expression in speech and drama at the ELR Towers Hall. As creatives, our strength lies not only in performing but in our ability to embody the roles of the characters we assume. This has been proven by the recognition and awards we have received in competitions such as the UWI Fresher’s Concert and the annual Tallawah Dramatic Arts Festival.

We pride ourselves on maintaining the standards set by our predecessors and in forging new avenues of success for those who will come after us. To all incoming drama lovers, we look forward to having you.

TDAS meets virtually on the first Monday of every month via Zoom. The time is dependent on the executive’s discretion. Club meetings will include entertaining discussions, special guests, role-plays and interactive games.

The activities for the semester are as follows:

• TDAS Workshop - Will be held via Zoom on September 27, 2020

• Throwback Thursdays - On the first and last Thursday of each month, TDAS will post throwback pictures and videos on our Instagram page.

• TikTok Drama Competition - Participants will create videos using the TikTok platform based on the criteria given. Platforms: Instagram and Zoom.​
